IN TODAYS WORLD WE SEE SCIENCE HAS MADE LOT OF ADVANCEMENT IN ALLMOST ALL THE FIELDS, BUT HAS IT REALLY MADE THE LIFE OF HUMAN BEINGS, COMPLETE, FULL, AND UNDESTRUCTIBLE OR INFACT THE NEW LIFESTYLE HAS MADE HUMAN BEINGS, MORE LONELY, HOLLOW, AND WEAK, IN FACT THE LATTER ONE IS TRUE, AND IT HAS HAD LOTS OF SIDE AFFECTS ON THE SOCIETY OF HUMAN BEINGS, SO DOES TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE PRODUCE HAPPINESS?MOMENTARILY AND THEN LEAVE YOU WITH MORE UNHAPPINESS. WHAT THEN IS GOOD FOR HUMAN BEINGS? TRULY TO BE FILLED WITH THE CREATOR HIMSELF BRINGS, JOY WELL BEING, SAFETY POWER AND STRENGTH, FULLNESS, SATISFACTION, BEAUTY, HOLINESS AND LIFE EVERLASTING FOR HE CREATED ALL OF IT AND HENCE HE CAN GIVE IT TO YOU ABUNDANTLY. Prosperity begins in the mind and is impossible with a mental attitude which is hostile to it. We can not attract opulence mentally by a poverty-stricken attitude which is driving away what we long for. We must think prosperity before we can come to it.
Our circumstances in life, our financial condition, our poverty or our wealth, our friends or lack of them, our condition of harmony or discord, are all very largely the offspring of our thought.
Success comes through a perfectly scientific mental process. The man who becomes prosperous believes that he is going to be prosperous. He has faith in his ability to make money. He does not start out with his mind filled with doubts and fears, and all the time talk poverty and think poverty, walk like a pauper and dress like a pauper. He turns his face towards the thing he is trying for and is determined to get, and will not admit its opposite picture in his mind.
The man who expects prosperity is constantly creating money in his mind, building his financial structure mentally. There must be a mental picture of the prosperity first; the building around it is comparatively easy[
To be prosperous we must put ourselves in the prosperous attitude. We must think opulently, we must feel opulent in thought; we must exhale confidence and assurance in our very bearing and manner. Our mental attitude towards the thing we are striving for and the intelligent effort we put forth to realize it, will measure our attainment.
The man who would succeed must think success, must think upward. He must think progressively, creatively, constructively, inventively, and, above all, optimistically.
The mental attitude which we hold toward our work or our aim has everything to do with what we accomplish.

Sometime after this, he accompanied a minister to pray for an invalid lady who had had inflammatory rheumatism for ten years. While the minister talked with the lady, John Lake sat at the opposite side of the room deeply moved in his spirit. He testified that he suddenly felt as though he had just passed under a deep shower or warm tropical rain that fell not only on him, but through him. His whole being was soothed into a deep stillness and calm. An awe of the presence of God settled over him. After moments passed, he seemed to hear the Lord say, "I have heard your prayers, and I have seen your tears. You are nowbaptized in the Holy Spirit." Then Dr. Lake testified to "currents of power" that began to rush through his being, increasing so greatly at his entire body began to vibrate intensely. At this time, the minister friend asked him to join him in prayer for the woman. He found it difficult to walk across the room - the presence of the Lord was so intense. As he touched the sister's head with his hand, her clenched hands opened and her joints began to work. The woman who had been an invalid for so long arose from her wheelchair and was perfectly healed!' As a result of this baptism, Dr. Lake testified to seeing mankind through "new eyes." He had a great desire to proclaim the message Christ and to demonstrate His power in the world.
About this time, a huge scandal erupted in New York in relation to insurance companies. Dr. Lake, together with several others, organized the People's Life Insurance Company of Chicago. He was appointed manager of agencies and wrote a million dollars worth of business in his first year. He had received a guarantee of $50,000 a year to continue in this business, but it was during this time that God dealt with him in such a way that the course of his life was definitely altered. Anumber of years had passed since God had healed his wife, Jennie. During this time, he had continued practicing the ministry of healing. Every answer to prayer and miraculous touch of God created within him a greater longing for the deeper things of the Spirit. During his business life, he made it a habit of speaking somewhere practically every night. After the services, he was in the habit of joining with friends who, like himself, were determined to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit as they believed the early disciples had received it (Acts 2:1-4). His prayer was, "God, if You will baptize me in the Holy Ghost and give me the power of God, nothing shall be permitted to stand between me and one hundredfold obedience."
Lake opened a real estate office. As a salesman and a contractor, he remained there until 1901. During
this time, together with George A. Feris, he founded the SOO Times, a local newspaper.
In 1904, he moved to Chicago and bought a seat on the Chicago Board of Trade with money borrowed from a
friend. During this time, he handled Jim Hill's western Canadian land and made a long time personal friend of this
great railroad financier.
The first day he opened his office, he made $2,500 on a real estate deal. At the end of twenty-one months in the real

traveled to New York representing the Chicago Board of Trade. There he met Tom Lawson, together with Mr.

employed by Ryan to further his negotiations, amounting to $l70,000, in an effort to form a large insurance trust
between the New York Life, Equitable, and Mutual Insurance companies. He also represented Mr. Lawson on the
Tracy Hermanstorfer went into cardiac arrest and stopped breathing during labour, said Dr. Stephanie Martin, a maternal fetal medicine specialist at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. {published 30/12/2009}
"She had no signs of life. No heartbeat, no blood pressure, she wasn't breathing," said Dr Martin. "The baby was, it was basically limp, with a very slow heart rate."
"We did a thorough evaluation and can't find anything that explains why this happened," she said.
While one team worked on saving Mrs Hermanstorfer, another team of medics set to work on her child.
Moments later Mike Hermanstorfer was stunned when he saw his son show signs of life and learned his wife had inexplicably started breathing again.
"My legs went out from underneath me," he said. "I had everything in the world taken from me, and in an hour and a half I had everything given to me."
After their miraculous recovery, both mother and the baby, named Coltyn, appear healthy with no signs of problems, Dr Martin said.
Mr Hermanstorfer credits "the hand of God."
"We are both believers ... but this right here, even a nonbeliever _ you explain to me how this happened. There is no other explanation," he said.
Asked about divine intervention, Dr Martin said, "Wherever I can get the help, I'll take it."
Tracy Hermanstorfer, 33, was getting prepped for childbirth at the hospital and her 37-year-old husband was by her side when she began to feel sleepy and laid back in her bed.
"She literally stopped breathing and her heart stopped," her husband said. Pandemonium erupted as doctors and nurses tried to revive her with chest compressions and a breathing tube, but nothing worked.
"I was holding her hand when we realized she was gone," Mr Hermanstorfer said. "My entire life just rolled out."
Doctors told him, "We're going to take your son out now. We have been unable to revive her and we're going to take your son out," he recalled.
After the Cesarean section, some of the team rushed his wife to the operating room while the others attended to the child, named Coltyn.
"They hand him to me, he's absolutely lifeless," Hermanstorfer said. The doctors went to work on Coltyn as Hermanstorfer held him, and soon he began to breath.
"His life began in my hands," Mr Hermanstorfer said. "That's a feeling like none other. Life actually began in the palm of my hands."
Dr Martin said Tracy Hermanstorfer's pulse returned even before she was wheeled out of the room and into surgery. She estimates Mrs Hermanstorfer had no heartbeat for about four minutes

Experts say that when it comes to saving money, boys are far better than girls.
According to Halifax, the average boy under 16 has 1,089 pounds in a savings account, while the amount is around 1,037 pounds for girls.
The bank said boys had higher balances than girls in three-quarters of districts across the UK.
And the biggest difference was seen in Westminster, where boys set aside 2,027 pounds, as compared to 1,661 pounds for girls.
However, older children have generally saved more than younger ones-the average teenager has set aside 1,178 pounds, as compared to around 1,024 pounds for children aged 12 or under.
London kids have the highest savings at an average of 1,380 pounds, followed by those in Northern Ireland at 1,182 pounds and the South- east at 1,162 pounds.
On the other hand, children in Scotland have put away only around 875 pounds, while those in the North-west have saved 961 pounds.

Washington A suspected Nigerian al Qaeda operative made an attempt to blow up a US Airliner in air on 26 th dec Saturday. Luckily he was over-powered by alert passengers who staved off what could have been a devastating Christmas Day terror attack. The passenger Umar Farouk Abdul Mudallab, an engineering student in London, tried to ignite an incendiary device aboard the Northwest Airlines flight 253, an Airbus 330, carrying 278 passengers from Amsterdam to Detroit, in what was described as an "attempted act of terrorism" by the White House.
The man, 23, who sustained burn injuries in the failed bid, later reportedly told interrogators that explosive powder was taped to his leg and he used a syringe to inject chemicals into it to cause an explosion on the trans-Atlantic flight.
However, the device mal-functioned and as smoke and fire erupted from his seat, co-passengers pounced on him and along with the crew dragged him to the front of the plane.
Two other passengers reported minor injuries, but the plane was able to land safely, the New York Times quoted an anti-terrorism official as saying. The incident has prompted the FBI to issue a nationwide red alert.
Muttalab, who is being questioned by FBI and other federal investigative agencies has reportedly said he had links to al Qaeda and that he had travelled to Yemen "to collect the incendiary device and instructions on how to use it," said The Washington Post
